Just the barebones of point groups, projection operators, vibrational modes, and mo theory. A very gentle introduction for chemistry students who have never seen the formalism of groups before. Gets to the point fast, but leaves one asking for a bit more. Could be read before reading Cotton in an undergraduate intro to symmetry in the context of inorganic chemistry. Organic applications are not included, unfortunately.

It is a very good introduction to the topic as all book of Oxford Chemistry Primers. I recommend this book.
Althogh the cost of the book is bit high, the book is in excellent condition.
